What do my consultations with a LawBridge attorney include?

You can consult with a LawBridge attorney on virtually any new legal matter! Advantage members get free initial consultations on LawBridge legal packets (e.g., a New Graduate Packet). For other consultations, Advantage members only pay a $30 copay to talk to a highly experienced attorney on new legal matters. Please note that consultations on tax, criminal, and business matters are not included in a LawBridge Advantage Personal Plan.

What can I expect from a consultation?

You will visit with a lawyer for up to 30 minutes to determine whether legal representation is required for your issue. The lawyer will answer general questions but is not expected to review documents, edit documents, or research any issue before, during or after the call. Advantage members can engage the lawyer at discounted rates to do any such additional work.

Can my family members use my Advantage membership?

Yes. Your Advantage plan benefits extend to your spouse and minor children.

How do I know my attorney is any good?

Every attorney in our network has passed a rigorous screening process, including having at least 8 years of experience, positive recommendations from both clients and other attorneys, and a video interview with our founders. And, our attorneys are required to be familiar with our products—so you can be sure that you're talking to someone who is intimately familiar with your documents.

What if my attorney doesn't answer my questions?

In the unlikely event your attorney is not able to answer your questions or provide any help, just let us know and we will refund any co-pay fees you paid for the consultation.

What is a new legal matter?

A new legal matter is a discrete legal issue or question that has not been the topic of a consultation with a LawBridge network attorney under your Advantage plan.

What if I have questions about my plan?

How do I schedule a consultation with a lawyer?

With 24/7 access to their lawyer's calendar, Advantage members can schedule an appointment online with their lawyer anytime.

Can I cancel anytime?

Advantage members can cancel at any time. Cancelation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Email us at support@lawbridge.com if you’d like to do so.
